One of the most selfless fields of study, social work entails alleviating the problems (physical, mental, emotional and societal) of those in the community. Social workers are trained to better the quality of lives through their work in fields such as medical and public health department, child, family and school, and mental health and substance abuse (to name a few) engaging in both on-site and off-site locations under various environments and situations.
Since 2018, Core Wellness has aimed to provide CEUs in New York that is of the highest quality, with a focus on advanced learning in an engaging manner. Not only are CEUs a great way to enhance a social worker’s professional life and career, but they also invariably result in a positive change in a student’s personal growth. The New York State Social Work Board requires that the New York State Department of Education approve providers offering continuing education activities. Our courses (New York social worker CEs included) meet the requirements of the International Association of Continuing Education Training (IACET), as well as local bodies such as the New York State Education Department (LMSWs and LSCWs) with our company being a Department-approved provider. Each unit can help fulfill 10 hours of the required 36 hours, recognized as participation in an accredited course.
Students of Core Wellness’ New York social workers CEs have enjoyed our engaging course material, presented efficiently and effectively by trained professionals in the form of webinars and live in-person sessions, while also allowing students the scope of self-instruction. Our courses, provided free of cost, allow learners to strike a balance between their professional practice and academic enhancement, while also being up to date with the latest developments in their field of study. We, however, also highly recommend that students check with their state’s regulatory/governing body to ensure that our New York social worker CE courses provider are recognized by them and meet their mandates.
