We here at Core Wellness understand the significant contributions social workers make to our society. We ourselves have been in the field for over 30 years. It is from the experience that we have designed and developed different courses for social workers that they need to take as part of the Continuing Education (CE) requirement. There is nothing stopping us from bringing the most brilliant minds of the country together to your doorstep. To those out there looking for Maryland social worker CEUs, we bring to you exciting and relevant courses that you can access through both in-person sessions and interactive webinars.
Continuing Education, we believe, is an absolute necessity so that we do not find ourselves stagnating in our fields. It is also a legal requirement for you to renew your license every two years and you need CE credits for that. Maryland social worker CEUs can be summed up as a 40 credit-hour requirement directly related to the field that you are working in. You are also required to take a few of those credits on professional ethics, legalities of practice and client interactions. Once you complete the required 40 hours, you submit the documentation to the Board to get your license renewed.
The Continuing Education Units must be offered by organizations approved and accredited by one of the following boards: The Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners, the Association of Social Work Boards, the National Association of Social Workers or the Clinical Social Work Federation. Our program is approved by the Maryland state’s Board of Social Work Examiners.
