Continuing education unit credits or CEUs can have a positive impact on your social work career in many ways and can have an impact on your personal growth too. A CEU is essentially a unit of credit that is equal to 10 hours of participating in an accredited program that has been designed for social workers. CEUs can be used to measure your involvement in continuing education in the area of social work according to the standards and policies set by the IACET (International Association of Continuing Education Training).
Core Wellness has been providing CEUs since 2018 and our objective is to provide excellent continuing education courses in social work. Our free courses offer quality continuing education for social workers for CEU credits that enable you to maintain your professional license in your specific state. Our free social worker CEUs enable you to stay abreast with the advancements, new laws and regulations pertaining to your field and in your state.
The live interactive webinars, live in-person and self-study deliveries conducted by Core Wellness for social workers are authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners, Maryland for LCSW, LMSW and LCSW-Cs. The credits are also accepted by the Board of Psychologists of Maryland and Board of Professional Counselors of Maryland (LCPC, MFTs and LGPC). Core Wellness’ free social worker CEUs are also recognized by New York Social Work and MHC Boards. However, for any other state, you must contact your regulatory board to determine the approval of the free social worker CEUs offered by Core Wellness.
