The continuing education (CE) program has been established under the guidance of IACET (International Association for Continuing Education & Training) and the ANSI (American National Standards Institute). The primary goal of these organizations is to ensure high-quality output from a range of professions so that common people get benefitted with the best possible care.
We here at Core Wellness offer a range of exceptionally designed CE courses across disciplines, one of them being marriage and family therapy. Marriage and family therapists are trained to evaluate and work with dysfunctions within the structured social units of marriage and family. Our free MFT CEUs will enable you to enhance your practice. Our CE units are structured to keep you updated on current developments in the field, balancing theory and praxis and incorporating multidisciplinary approaches to boost your professional growth while also satisfying a legal requirement.
Our free MFT CEUs are available through in-person, interactive webinar and self-study platforms. Remember, different states have different requirements when it comes to CEU credits for renewal of license and registration. They also have different thresholds for the self-study components. Some states use ‘unit’ as a measure while some use ‘contact hours’. A CE unit is 10 contact hours of coursework. A contact hour is a standard hour, 50-60 minutes of a learning session that is not accounted for as self-study. Our free MFT CEUs are already approved by the respective governing boards of Maryland and New York. If you want to practice in a different state, kindly contact your regulatory board to determine the validity of the free MFT CEUs offered by Core Wellness.
